B10 is an office and hotel complex located at Bolkowska Street 10, forming part of Wrocław’s vibrant and fast-growing business district.
The development consists of two main buildings: a modern six-storey office building offering flexible leasable space, and a hotel with 216 rooms designed for long-term rental. Both parts of the investment are connected by a shared courtyard, creating a friendly and open space for relaxation and recreation surrounded by greenery. TEKNA design office was responsible for the execution-stage structural design of the superstructure of the office building, including the preparation of workshop documentation for the precast concrete structure and the complete erection design. The key design challenge was the development of a system of 180 prefabricated façade walls, installed on site as ready-made panels comprising the structural layer, thermal insulation and façade finish, with factory-installed windows. The façade was designed and executed using polished concrete technology in white and black colours. As part of this project, the TEKNA team designed over 1,300 precast elements, including walls, beams, columns, slabs, stair flights and landings. In total, more than 38,000 accessories were used both in prefabrication and on site, such as connectors, steel plates, lifting anchors, installation pads and other assembly components.
